What Are Graphical User Interfaces?

Studio 44 Productions often works hand-in-hand with their sister automation company, 4TEC Integration. Between both companies, everything from programming and graphics, to installation and education are handled by a collaborating team to offer an all in one solution. Specifically, Studio 44 designs the GUIs, graphic user interfaces, for touch panel controls. We specialize in providing and designing custom and navigable systems to meet any company’s stylistic requests.

So what is a GUI ("gooey")?

A GUI, or graphical user interface, is a type of interface that allows users to interact with electronic devices through graphical icons and visual indicators. In simpler terms, a GUI is a user interface that includes graphical elements, such as windows, icons and buttons. Today, nearly all digital interfaces are GUIs. They can be found in everyday hand-held devices such as MP3 players, portable media players, gaming devices, smartphones and other smaller household, office and industrial equipment.

Studio 44 specializes in creating touch panel controls for conference rooms, training facilities and other building controls (sound systems, HVAC, lighting, security and AV). Our customized one touch control systems allow for easy navigation for even the most inexperienced of users and adds a stylistic touch for businesses.
